Hello.

Welcome to my diary. Here I share my journey and life with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Scar Me, MS

Scar Me, MS

My life feels over. Since MS, since falling MS-drunk sleep in front of a heater (that MS fatigue feel—like uncontrollable tiredness) and having 3 to 4 inch blister-burns that turned into MRSA Staph infected Scars of MS (yes,it’s a lot) and now more MS scars (drug rejection related) I have become more focused and involved with of the care of my skin.

In prior tom-boy experiences (I played basketball and volleyball in HS. I was rough.) I made  “skin-come-backs” with simple essentials such as Black soap, coco butter, and Shea butter-infused products, but since going to a dermatologist and adding a bleaching cream to my daily routine, I’ve started to become hyper-focused on my scar care.

With drop-foot, an ailment in my left and right  leg  😭. I did not realize due to nerve damage on  my legs (now, I know 😑) I was sustaining burns, cuts, rough brushes with things and now have scared legs  because my foot would drag, getting caught in things—deeply bruising me 🤬🙁😩😭.

I was/am tending to these minor bruises with Mederma (I know you may not see it ñpat first, buybacks BE consistent), moisturizing with Pink Sugar, Milk and Honey from The Glow Bar and Rosehip oil, Mederma, and Tumeric oil to aide in healing skin scaring.

Okay, now, what happened ?

Pain pill rejection ! I didn’t even feel it. I just know my husband pointed it out, I looked down  and thought 💥“well shit! What happened ?! Pressure point blisters on my leg and back. A perk? Skin numbness, so I didn’t feel the pain on my ankle and back.

Disclaimerit is noted to keep the damaged skin moisturized. This aids in recovery and lessens hyperpigmentation.

Summer is over.

I will not go into 30, my birthday with untreated bruised-black ankles, scarred skin or a dry scalp.

Let the skincare commence.
